  • Our approach

The clinic uses research-based "best-practice" therapies that have been proven effective through rigorous research, tailored to each individual child or adolescent's needs. The therapeutic relationship is considered very important to treatment outcome, and the clinic has a unique matching process to ensure a good fit between clinician and client. Treatment takes into account the child's strengths, family composition, cultural background and religious beliefs when developing a personalised plan. The team tracks treatment progress carefully for each individual to ensure the therapies are working well. Their psychologists, counsellors and social workers are compassionate and focused specifically on working with children and young people.

  • Meet the team

The clinic is led by Dr. Elizabeth Seeley-Wait, who carefully selects all team members. The team includes child and adolescent-focused psychologists, counsellors and social workers who are described as compassionate, professional and capable. Each clinician has specialised training and experience working with children and/or adolescents. All psychologists are fully registered, and in addition to private practice, they are involved in research and contribute to the field. The clinic has expertise in treating anxiety, depression, behavioural and social problems, parenting difficulties, and helping families through grief, divorce and life adjustments.
