About EarlyBloom

An independent directory for parents.

Built to help Australian parents find the right child development support, earlier.

EarlyBloom started with a question most Australian parents eventually ask: where do I even begin? Finding a speech therapist, occupational therapist, or psychologist for a child is harder than it should be. Waitlists are long, information is scattered across clinic websites, and nobody tells you which services accept which funding.

This site is a small attempt to fix that. It is an independent directory of allied health and child development providers across Australia, organised by concern, service, and location, and written for parents rather than for clinicians.

Who built this

EarlyBloom is a solo project maintained from Sydney. It is built in the evenings and weekends, funded out of pocket, and iterated on quickly. The goal is simple: get parents to the right support earlier.

Independence

EarlyBloom is not affiliated with any single clinic, practitioner, insurer, or NDIS registered provider. Providers do not pay to be listed, and they cannot pay to be listed higher. Rankings and editorial decisions are ours alone.

Editorial approach

Guide articles are researched against peer-reviewed sources, Australian clinical guidelines, and reputable parent organisations where possible. We are in the process of arranging formal clinician review of health content; until that is in place, guides should be read as informational rather than clinical. If you spot something wrong, please tell us.
