About Redtail Therapy
Red Tail Therapy is a mobile occupational therapy service that offers reliable and caring support to individuals in South East Queensland. They employ OTs and OT assistants with specialist knowledge in paediatrics, adults, home modifications and assistive technology, and are able to provide services to NDIS plan-managed and self-managed clients, as well as privately funded families with potential Medicare or private health insurance rebates.

Our approach
Occupational therapy at Redtail Therapy takes a whole person, client-centred perspective to help children participate in activities that are meaningful to them and their families. Sessions involve ongoing assessments to understand what activities your child can do, what they want to do, any current limitations, and their goals. The therapists offer practical advice and techniques to help children do things more easily and safely. This approach recognizes that 'occupation' includes all the everyday activities that make up life roles—from self-care to play, hobbies, and social participation—and therapy works to enable meaningful engagement in these areas.
Meet the team
Redtail Therapy has a team of occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants with specialist knowledge in paediatrics, adults, home modifications and assistive technology. The team includes Senior OTs through to OT assistants, with staff trained in equipment prescription. All OTs are degree-qualified and regulated by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). The team is described as caring individuals committed to providing quality support.
