Our approach
Assess Psychology provides evidence-based counselling grounded in clinical, thoughtful practice. Sessions are structured and goal-focused, with psychologists working to help young people and their parents understand what is happening and develop practical strategies that support positive change. Appointments are available at the Wyong office near Tuggerah, online, in schools, or in the comfort of home, with a primary focus on ensuring clients feel comfortable and at ease. The approach is tailored to each individual's needs, with support changing over time as needs shift.
Working with families
Psychologists work with young people and, where appropriate, their parents, to better understand what is happening and develop practical strategies that support positive change. NDIS funding may also be used for counselling where relationships are affected by disability, including couples or family members. Where appropriate, psychologists can liaise with schools and provide supporting information for adjustments or special provisions.
