  • Our approach

The service uses a client-centred, tailored approach to help people develop coping strategies suited to their individual needs. Psychologists draw on evidence-based techniques including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Schema Therapy, EMDR, and trauma-focused psychotherapy, among others. Each treatment method is chosen based on what will work best for you personally, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. The team focuses on holistic wellness, connecting body and mind, and helping clients identify their strengths to live more fulfilling lives. Sessions are designed to be supportive and professional, creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can express your concerns freely.

  • Meet the team

The team includes registered psychologists, clinical psychologists, mental health social workers, and allied health practitioners, all registered with the Psychology Board of Australia or equivalent regulatory bodies. Key team members include Vicki Jones (Senior Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist with extensive experience in mood disorders and trauma), Lotti Keijzer (Senior Practitioner with over 19 years in mental health), Nina Adiya (Principal Psychologist with over 20 years' experience across three countries), Tibin Joseph (fully registered Clinical Psychologist), Alison Skillen (experienced counsellor), and Rangika Mathew (clinical hypnotherapist). All therapists are compassionate professionals with diverse skill sets, styles, and life experiences that enable them to empathise with and relate to your situation.

  • Your first visit

At your first appointment, the team will work with you to identify your immediate needs through conversation with your assigned psychologist. The consultation process is designed to make you feel comfortable and safe, and your psychologist will create a plan tailored to your specific situation. Prior to your first session, your assigned psychologist may personally get in touch to confirm your appointment and orient you about what to expect during sessions. Much of the documentation is handled by friendly customer support staff, so you can focus on getting the help you need. If you're eligible, Medicare or private health insurance rebates can be processed on the spot using HICAPS technology.
