  • Our approach

Together We Grow Kids OT uses a neuro-affirmative approach that values each child as a unique individual and builds connection through play. Sessions are grounded in understanding and using each child's strengths to form the foundation of therapy, with a philosophy of "connection over correction." The provider offers play-based therapy and is a certified DIR Floortime® provider, an evidence-based approach that encourages children to interact with parents and others through play. This approach prioritises early detection of feeding difficulties using the SOS® Feeding method, an evidence-based approach to support picky and fussy eaters.

  • Working with families

Parent and caregiver involvement is central to therapy, with goals developed in collaboration with families during the assessment process. The provider works with parents to understand each child's strengths and priorities, and incorporates family interaction into play-based sessions through the DIR Floortime® approach. The provider also offers training for preschool educators and centres, extending support beyond the immediate family.
