Our approach
The therapy approach focuses on personalised, evidence-based care tailored to each child's individual needs. Sessions are designed to be fun and engaging, with therapists incorporating children's favourite activities and fully-equipped therapy rooms to help them learn while enjoying themselves. Therapists break goals into achievable tasks so children experience success at every step, and know how to teach in different ways to support consistent progress. The team takes a neurodiversity affirming stance, seeing children's differences as strengths rather than deficits, and works alongside each child to support their own goals and ways of engaging with the world. Rather than aiming to make children "fit in," the focus is on empowering them and equipping families with strategies that feel respectful and affirming of who they are.
Meet the team
The multidisciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists who are passionate about working with children. The clinic has over 50 therapists across five locations, and the organisation is committed to investing in the clinical, professional and personal development of all clinicians so they provide high-quality care. The team pursues ongoing training in neurodiversity affirming approaches and remains dedicated to learning and updating practices as the field evolves.
Your first visit
The first step is a Screening and Assessment check to understand where your child is starting from and whether they would benefit from support to reach their full potential. An assessment provides a clear outline of your child's strengths as well as areas in which support can help them grow. This information is used to develop the best therapy plan tailored to your child's individual needs. Once the assessment is complete, you can decide whether in-person sessions at one of the clinic locations or online therapy is most convenient for your family.
