Our approach
The Therapy Studio uses evidence-based and humanistic therapy tailored to each person's unique needs. Sessions focus on looking beyond behaviours to understand the underlying human needs, guided by genuine curiosity and collaboration. The approach is neurodevelopmentally informed and designed to be adaptable, meeting people with diverse needs through an open-minded yet thoughtful lens. Sessions can take place in the clinic, virtually, or in the community as a mobile service, ensuring flexibility to suit individual circumstances. The practice is committed to finding the right therapeutic fit between client and practitioner to support the best possible outcomes.
Your first visit
An initial appointment begins with completing a support request form, which can be filled out online or over the phone with staff support if needed. This form helps the practice gather information about your situation and what you're hoping to address. The practice will then be transparent about what they can offer in your unique situation. If you feel there isn't a good fit with your practitioner within the first three sessions, you can rematch with a different practitioner internally at no charge. The team aims to find the best match between your needs and the right clinician for your family.
