Our approach
At the Child and Adolescent Neuropsychology Group, the approach centres on gaining a deep understanding of each child's individual strengths, challenges, and support needs through comprehensive neuropsychological assessment. Sessions incorporate a range of diagnostic tools and techniques to evaluate thinking skills, emotions, and behaviour across multiple domains including attention, memory, language, learning, and executive functioning. The neuropsychologists are particularly skilled in working with children and adolescents, offering expertise in neurodevelopmental conditions that affect how a child thinks, learns, and interacts. The assessment process is thorough and tailored to each young person's needs, leading to individualised recommendations for educational strategies, allied health intervention, and ongoing support.
