  • Our approach

At Sunny Speaks, therapy is grounded in a neuro-affirming, strengths-based philosophy that celebrates each child's unique way of communicating, whether spoken, non-verbal, signed, typed, or expressed through gestures and play. Sessions are designed to be fun and engaging, with the belief that communication doesn't always look the same and every form is valid. The provider works with children who are non- or minimally speaking and those with complex needs, meeting them where they are and supporting their individual communication journey with warmth and creativity. Therapy can take place in your home, school, kinder or childcare, or via Telehealth, making it convenient and accessible for your family.

  • Working with families

Parent consultations are offered as one-on-one consultation and coaching to help you support your child at home. The provider shares expertise through a blog offering tips, insights and encouragement, and aims to empower families on their child's communication journey with valuable resources and guidance.
