Our approach
Yellow Door Kids uses a trauma-informed, neurobiologically sound approach within a strengths-based, family-centred framework. Sessions focus on supporting children's social and emotional development through play, music, and connection, drawing on each child's individual interests as a foundation for growth. The team celebrates neurodiversity and recognises that all children are unique, requiring individualised approaches. Programs include small group sessions where children build social communication, self-advocacy, and emotional regulation through supported play, as well as high-interest groups like Minecraft and Lego, alongside individual Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy sessions.
