About ST Psychology
ST Psychology is a team of Clinical Psychologists supporting the Chatswood and North Shore communities since 2014, offering therapy for children, teens, adults, and families. They are anchored in attachment science, provide trauma-informed and neuroaffirming care, and embrace evidence-based methods delivered with compassion and zero judgement.
What ST helps with
Personal Therapy
Therapy tailored to individuals feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for something more, delivered by qualified clinical psychologists.
Family Therapy
Therapy that works with the whole family — or key members — to improve communication, resolve conflict and strengthen relationships. It recognises that difficulties often affect and are affected by family dynamics, and works on shared patterns rather than focusing on one individual alone.
Clinical Supervision
Structured support for practitioners to reflect on their clinical work, receive expert guidance and maintain professional standards. Supervision is required for many Allied Health and mental health professionals and supports safe, high-quality care.
Training & Consulting
Expert-led training and consulting for schools and mental health organisations, with focus on attachment, family systems, and trauma-informed practice.

Our approach
The practice takes an attachment-informed, evidence-based approach, anchored in the science of attachment to help build stronger, more secure relationships. Sessions are trauma-informed and delivered by qualified clinical psychologists in a safe, supportive environment using proven methods. The team embraces a deeply human philosophy—with compassion, curiosity, and zero judgment—and offers neuroaffirming care for all identities, including autism, ADHD, neurodivergence, and LGBTQI+. Play lies at the heart of the therapeutic work, and clinicians creatively and flexibly apply evidence-based practice in ways that resonate with each client's unique needs and goals.
Working with families
The practice offers family therapy as a core service and works collaboratively with families throughout the therapeutic process. Parents and carers are invited to be part of the treatment where appropriate, with the practice aiming to support families in navigating life's challenges from parenting struggles to teen tensions. The team will work with families to determine the right approach for their unique situation, and family sessions are tailored around what matters most to the family. All therapeutic work is guided by principles of partnership and connection, ensuring families feel supported and understood.
Meet the team
The team comprises five clinical psychologists: Shirley Till (Principal Clinical Psychologist, with over 45 years of combined experience), Matteo Zuccala, Shannon Webb, Amber Hamilton, and Mia Romano (all Clinical Psychologists), plus Jess Riley (Clinical Psychology Registrar and registered psychologist). The team has trained more than 50 therapists across university, health, and private settings and has authored over 60 research papers in clinical psychology. Team members specialise in individual and family therapy, with expertise in attachment-informed and systemic approaches, cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, parent management training, and trauma-informed practice.
Your first visit
In your first session, your psychologist will want to know what's brought you to therapy and may ask about other important aspects of your life, such as who you live with, what you do for fun, and your interests. The psychologist will guide you through the process—you don't need to prepare a coherent narrative beforehand, just show up ready to talk. Your psychologist may also discuss what therapy will look like and any next steps forward. There's no pressure to talk about anything you don't feel comfortable discussing, and the first session typically lasts 60 minutes. Your clinician will inform you of the fee structure and any relevant details prior to your first appointment.
ST Psychology is not currently listed as a registered NDIS provider on the NDIS Commission register. They may still support plan-managed or self-managed NDIS participants — contact them to confirm.
