About Social Minds
Social Minds provides Social Skills support for kids, teens & young adults who experience social challenges. They help individuals by providing skills and strategies to help them feel confident when navigating their social world and building a stronger sense of self to achieve their individualised goals. With a multidisciplinary approach, their programs combine evidence-based practices and a flexible approach where they modify their programs to suit each individual enrolled with them.

Social Minds lists
- Social Explorers
- Program for ages 4-7 designed to help young learners develop skills to be flexible social thinkers and social problem solvers through structured play.
- Zones of Regulation
- Program for ages 4-12 designed for students who struggle with self-regulation, helping them gain skills in consciously regulating their actions.
- Secret Agent Society®
- Social skills program for ASD children aged 8-12 that teaches skills to help support them through social and emotional challenges.
- PEERS® Program
- Evidence-based social skills group program for adolescents and young adults aged 13-17 and 18-30 with social challenges, helping them make and keep friends.
- Social Minds Club
- Non-NDIS friendship-building group for kids and teens with social challenges, adapted to fit group needs and running both in-centre and in the community.
- Support Worker Service
- Personalised support service for individuals aged 3.5 to 65 years old focused on enhancing social connections and overall well-being in the community.
- Individual Therapy
- One-on-one therapy services offered across multiple age groups from 4-7 years through adults 18+.

Our approach
Social Minds uses evidence-based, multidisciplinary approaches tailored to each child's needs, including programs like Social Explorers, Secret Agent Society, PEERS, and Zones of Regulation. Sessions combine structured play, explicit teaching, and practical strategies delivered in a safe, supportive environment where children learn social skills they can apply to the real world. The provider focuses on building confidence and helping children become flexible social thinkers and problem solvers. All programs are designed to be engaging and fun while teaching long-term strategies that actually work for navigating social challenges. Children learn in an environment that recognises their individual goals and needs, whether that involves emotional regulation, friendship-building, or social problem-solving.
Meet the team
Social Minds is led by Monique, the Founder, Managing Director and Head Therapist, who has over seven years of experience working with children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She holds a Bachelor of Public Communication from the University of Technology Sydney and a postgraduate degree in Autism from the University of Wollongong (completed 2022). Monique has completed extensive training in evidence-based programs including Secret Agent Society, PEERS for Young Adults, and PEERS for Preschoolers, as well as specialised courses in Pathological Demand Avoidance and Zones of Regulation. She has worked directly with more than 200 clients aged 3.5 to 30 years. The team also includes Support Workers who provide personalised community-based support for clients aged 3.5 to 65 years old.
