Our approach
Reboot Occupational Therapy takes a holistic, child-centered approach that celebrates progress and empowers children to reach their full potential. Therapy is personalised, playful, and grounded in understanding neurodiversity—helping children thrive as they are, not changing who they are. Sessions are engaging and hands-on, focusing on building practical skills for everyday life across areas like fine motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and independence. The team uses evidence-based practice informed by additional training in sensory strategies, trauma-informed practice, and relationship-based models. Whether in the clinic, at home, school, or online, the focus is on creating a safe, warm space where children feel supported and confident to learn and grow.
Working with families
Parents and carers are an essential part of their child's progress and are actively involved throughout therapy. The team offers dedicated parent support to share concerns, ask questions, and work collaboratively to set goals that are practical, achievable, and meaningful for your family. Communication is warm, positive, and encouraging, with the team working closely with families to ensure therapy is meaningful and supports children across everyday environments including home and school. Telehealth sessions may include parent coaching and strategy planning to support progress at home. The team also works with families, educators, and support teams to build consistency, confidence, and practical skills that carry over into daily routines at home and school.
Meet the team
The team includes Annelise Colosimo, Lead Occupational Therapist and Director, who is a qualified occupational therapist with extensive experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, and developmental delays, and additional training in sensory strategies, therabrushing, auditory tools, trauma-informed practice, and relationship-based play models. Bec Feros is an Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor's degree from Western Sydney University and several years of experience across preschool, nannying, and disability support settings, using a strengths-based, play-based approach. Zoe Belarra is an Occupational Therapist who completed her studies at Western Sydney University and brings public health experience, working with children from very young through to teenagers. Carissa Wong is an Allied Health Assistant currently studying Occupational Therapy, passionate about working with children and building their confidence and independence. All team members bring care, evidence-based practice, and a commitment to collaborative, family-centered support.
Your first visit
At the first appointment, a 1:1 initial assessment session is held to observe your child's strengths, challenges, and how they engage in meaningful activities. Before attending, you'll complete an online intake form to help the team understand your goals and how they can best support your child's individual needs. During this process, the team takes time to understand your child's strengths, challenges, and goals so they can create therapy that's truly personalised and meaningful. You're welcome to contact the team beforehand if you'd prefer to speak to someone first before filling out the form. The assessment is designed as a collaborative process to get to know your child and set the foundation for tailored, effective therapy.
