  • Our approach

The team uses a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual's needs. Sessions focus on learning your story, understanding your strengths, and identifying ways to address problems at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Your psychologist will help you uncover the root causes of difficulties and develop practical coping strategies. The conversation is thoughtful and never too probing—the pace is guided by your comfort level and preferences.

  • Working with families

Parents and carers are actively involved in supporting children's progress. The team works with parents to build parenting skills by identifying what parents are already doing well and providing additional strategies. After initial work begins, the team touches base occasionally with parents to check progress—offering support in the background while respecting family autonomy. Communication with parents helps ensure consistency and success in addressing behavioural and emotional issues.

  • Meet the team

The team includes Clinical Psychologists registered with AHPRA who have completed a minimum of 8 years training with a postgraduate masters degree or PhD, as well as Counselling Psychologists and Registered Psychologists with 6+ years training. Team members specialise in different areas including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD/autism assessment, relationship counselling, and child psychology. The psychologists use evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, EMDR, ACT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness approaches, with several team members trained as AHPRA-approved supervisors.

  • Your first visit

The first appointment involves meeting with a psychologist who will listen to your story and learn more about the issues you're facing. The session focuses on understanding what has brought you in now and identifying your existing strengths that can support your own healing. Together you'll explore the root or cause of your concerns and begin identifying ways to address and move through the problem. This initial meeting helps match you with the right psychologist for your specific needs.
