Our approach
Think Feel Grow uses evidence-based therapies to help children and young people understand and cope with their thoughts and feelings while discovering their strengths and building confidence. Sessions support young people to develop skills for managing thoughts and emotions, explore their values, and work towards doing the things that matter to them. The practice draws on acceptance and commitment therapy approaches to help children build resilience and navigate challenges like anxiety, stress, and low mood. Overall, the focus is on growth and helping young people live meaningful lives with greater wellbeing.
Working with families
The practice offers consultations with parents and caring adults as a short-term service for those seeking assistance with parenting-based concerns and strategies to support their child or teen's wellbeing and development. These consultations sit alongside individual therapy for young people, indicating parent involvement is available and valued.
