  • Our approach

New Vision Psychology uses a bio-psychosocial approach tailored to each client's individual needs. Sessions are conducted with genuine care and kindness, focusing on understanding how each person's brain works as the foundation for therapy. The practice employs various evidence-based therapeutic approaches—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, and mindfulness-based methods—customised to fit each client's situation. Psychologists work collaboratively with clients to set personal goals and use proven interventions for assessment, early intervention, psychoeducation, crisis planning and harm reduction. The practice is dedicated to matching you with the best psychologist for your specific needs to maximise therapeutic outcomes.

  • Working with families

Parents and carers are actively involved in the therapeutic process. The practice collaborates with parents on treatment planning and works together to support the child's progress. Psychologists communicate with families as part of comprehensive care and have extensive training in parenting support programs including Circle of Security, Tuning into Kids, Watch Wait and Wonder, and Triple P (Positive Parenting Program). The practice emphasises a collaborative approach, working with families to understand each child's unique needs and strengths. For NDIS clients, psychologists work collaboratively with your support team including GPs, specialists, support workers and family to ensure consistent care.

  • Meet the team

New Vision Psychology has over 40 practitioners across its five Sydney locations, offering services in more than 10 languages.
