  • Our approach

Occupational therapy at Navigate supports children to participate to their full potential in the activities they need and want to do as part of everyday life, encompassing self-care tasks, preschool and school participation, and play. Sessions are individually tailored to each child's specific requirements and strengths, with therapy designed to be fun and engaging while providing practical solutions to daily challenges. The practice is flexible and mobile, offering assessment and therapy in the environment most appropriate to your child's needs, whether at home, child care, preschool or school. Collaboration with you, educators and other professionals is central to the approach, recognizing that you know your child best and that their physical and social environments matter greatly.

  • Working with families

Navigate understands that you know your child's strengths, interests and needs best and collaborates closely with you to establish therapy goals and intervention plans. The practice recognises the significance of a child's physical and social environments, and as such works collaboratively with relevant caregivers, educators and funding bodies as required. By offering flexible and mobile services that can occur in your home, child care, preschool or school, the practice ensures that therapy is integrated into your child's everyday life and routines.
