Our approach
At Roles & Goals, therapy is guided by a relationship-based and collaborative approach that focuses on understanding the whole child, not just isolated challenges. Sessions are play-based for children and tailored to what matters most in their daily lives, using clear SMART goals created together with families. Occupational Therapists provide practical strategies and coaching in areas like sensory processing, emotional regulation, and independence, delivered with creativity and patience. Therapy can happen at the clinic, at home, at school, or out in the community—wherever will be most meaningful for the child's everyday participation. The team works closely with families, educators and support networks to build shared understanding of what therapy is working towards and why.
