Assessment: Comprehensive 90-minute assessment (can be split over two sessions) including standardized assessments for sensory processing, social interaction, gross and fine motor skills, handwriting, visual perceptual skills and regulation, with written report and recommendations.
Clinic-based Therapy Intervention: Therapeutic sessions using various approaches to develop regulation, attention, sensory processing, motor skills, handwriting, visual perceptual skills and daily functional skills, with parent/carer involvement and home activity ideas.
School Visits and Educator Collaboration: Semester-based visits to schools, kindy or child-care settings with recommendations and strategies provided to support inclusion and skill development in educational environments.

Our approach
Occupational therapy at Kids Just Right focuses on promoting skill development and independence in daily living tasks through sensory processing and integration. The practice recognizes that children have diverse needs, including those with physical impairments, learning and behavioural difficulties, developmental delays, vision and hearing impairments, and emotional regulation challenges. Sessions address how the nervous system receives sensory messages and turns them into appropriate motor and behavioural responses.
