  • Our approach

Therapy at Lotus Health and Psychology focuses on compassionate, evidence-based interventions tailored to each person's needs. Sessions are 50 minutes long and can be delivered in clinic or via telehealth. For children, adolescents, and adults, practitioners adopt a neurodiversity-affirming approach that recognises the unique strengths and challenges of neurodivergent people. The team supports a broad range of presenting problems across both neurotypical and neurodivergent clients, with particular expertise in perinatal, fertility, and parenting-related concerns. The practice space is carefully designed to feel welcoming and comfortable, described by clients as "feeling like walking into a friend's home."

  • Meet the team

The team is led by Narelle Dickinson, Director and Clinical and Health Psychologist, who has 30 years of experience as a psychologist in Queensland, including 28 years in the perinatal space. The multidisciplinary team includes several psychologists and clinical psychologists (Emma-Grace Armitage, Sarah Reid, Ellie Brooks, Rhiannon Romanak, Yolandi Mallard, and Natalie Weber), a Specialist Fertility Counsellor and Psychotherapist (Elise Atkinson), an Educational and Developmental Psychologist, a Clinical Naturopath specialising in nutrition and herbal medicine (Nadia Shaw), and support staff. Many team members hold fertility counsellor qualifications, and several are registered practitioners or registrars in their field.
