Our approach
Occupational therapy at Little Bridges focuses on maximising your child's ability to participate in everyday activities—the things they need to, want to, or are expected to do alongside their peers. Sessions address a wide range of developmental areas, from self-care skills like dressing and toileting, through gross and fine motor coordination, to attention, play, social skills, handwriting and sensory processing. The therapist works collaboratively with children and families to find the right solutions, which might involve changing how a task is done, adapting the environment, or building new skills in your child, carers and educators. This practical, participation-focused approach means your child learns strategies they can use in real life.
