About ABA Kids
ABA Kids is a mobile service operating in Melbourne's South/East that delivers Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) programs in clients' natural environments including home, childcare, and school. All programs are child-centered, holistic, culturally sensitive, trauma informed and uphold the basic human rights of all parties involved. Skill deficits are addressed in the individual's natural environment with caregivers encouraged to participate in the training process.

- Behavioural Consultation
- Consultation services for parents and caregivers addressing child behaviour needs.
- Functional Behaviour Assessment (FBA)
- Assessment of problem behaviour to inform intervention planning.
- Behaviour Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Development and training of behaviour intervention plans for implementation across settings.
- Full-Time Early Intervention
- Up to 25 hours per week of 1:1 early intensive therapy delivered by Senior Behaviour Therapists and Behaviour Therapists.
- Part-Time Early Intervention
- 15 hours per week of 1:1 early intervention therapy at a location of choice.
- Social Skills & School Readiness Groups
- Group-based sessions during school terms focusing on social skills and school readiness.
- School Consultation & Support
- Collaboration with schools including IEP development, FBA, BIP training, classroom support, and staff professional development.
- Parent Training
- Practical, ongoing support and training for parents to address their child's needs.
- BCBA/CBA & RBT Supervision
- Face-to-face and remote supervision for those pursuing BCBA/CBA or Registered Behaviour Technician certification.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Collaborative approach incorporating speech pathology and occupational therapy goals within ABA programs.

Our approach
ABA Kids uses Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) delivered in your child's natural environments—home, childcare, school or community settings—to help skills generalise across different people and places. Sessions are individualised, child-centred, and designed to be fun while being trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. Skill development is carefully monitored through data tracking, and all programs uphold children's basic human rights. You can choose from a consultation model where you lead your child's therapy, or a more intensive model with up to 25 hours per week of one-to-one early intervention delivered by qualified behaviour therapists.
Working with families
Caregivers are actively encouraged to take part in the training process, with options ranging from a consultation model where parents take a leading role in providing therapy, to more intensive models where therapists deliver sessions. The provider offers parent training, communication about progress through close data inspection and skill monitoring, and collaboration on school consultation and IEP development.
