  • Our approach

The approach at Insight Early Intervention centres on connection-based therapy delivered through shared play, laughter, and enjoyment, helping children grow across developmental, educational, and behavioural domains. Sessions are personalised to meet each child's unique needs in a safe and nurturing environment, with practice rooms designed to be simple and supportive. The team uses neuro-affirming language throughout and operates as a neuro-inclusive practice. Small group sessions are also available to help children develop confidence and social understanding, while an optional therapy dog, Cosmo, adds a calming influence to the experience. Sessions are tailored to individual and family circumstances, with the philosophy that children thrive best when given connection, time, and space to develop at their own pace.

  • Working with families

Early intervention teachers work in partnership with families to provide tailored support that meets the unique needs of each family structure. Parent education and support are provided alongside one-on-one and small group interventions. The practice maintains regular communication through available contact channels including phone, email, and in-person visits, with the team dedicated to supporting not just children but their parents and carers throughout the process. Families are invited to be part of their child's journey, with sessions designed to be welcoming and inclusive for both children and parents.

  • Meet the team

The team is led by Renee, an early intervention teacher with over 20 years of experience in early childhood and special education. She holds both a Bachelor of Teaching and a Bachelor of Education, and has worked across various educational services supporting children with diverse needs. Staff are fully qualified and educated early intervention teachers whose education degrees are grounded in child development and psychology, enabling them to work with children in a holistic manner. Cosmo, the clinic's therapy dog, also forms part of the team, providing comfort and a calming presence during sessions.
