Our approach
The practice tailors sessions to each person's experiences and needs, staying current with evidence-based approaches including trauma, neurodiversity and eating disorder specialties. With children and adolescents, a family systems approach is used that includes parents and carers to help them feel more confident supporting their child, while keeping the young person at the centre of the work. Sessions are guided by what you need, at a pace that feels manageable, and the Menai practice is designed as a warm, private space with soft textures and calming colours. The focus is on listening to where you are, understanding where you want to be, and working together to make sense of what's happening and move towards what matters most.
