Our approach
At Dr Grace Hancock Psychology & Autism Support, therapy provides a safe space for children and adolescents to discuss concerns, gain understanding of their current differences and challenges, and explore new ways to manage them. Sessions are tailored to individual needs and may include one-to-one sessions with a psychologist, peer group sessions, or parent-focused sessions depending on what would be most helpful. The approach emphasises neurodiversity-affirming care, helping young people build understanding of how their brain works and what this means for them day-to-day. Parents are supported to understand their child through a neuro-affirming lens while exploring systems and responses that foster healthy family connections and emotional wellbeing.
