Our approach
Occupational Therapy at Better Life Centre focuses on helping people participate in meaningful activities and everyday tasks they need, want, or are expected to do. Therapists examine physical and cognitive abilities alongside environmental factors, habits, and routines to understand each person's unique situation. The approach supports children to adapt, recover, or build skills for greater independence—whether that's succeeding in school, managing daily activities, or improving wellbeing through purposeful engagement. Sessions are designed around the meaningful activities that matter most to each child and family. This practical, activity-based approach recognises that real progress happens when therapy connects directly to the things children do every day.
