• Our approach

  Aspire uses the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and Early Behaviour Intervention techniques to empower families as active partners in their child's learning. Sessions are tailored to each child's unique needs, whether through the focused 12-week Early Intervention Program with extensive parent training, or the more intensive Early Behaviour Intervention program delivered by Behaviour Technicians at the clinic, home, or preschool. The approach emphasises teaching parents proven learning techniques during the most effective window—early intervention—so families can support their child's development across language, motor skills, play, social interaction, attention, and executive functioning. Skills learned are applicable at home and lay foundations for school settings and managing behavioural challenges.

• Working with families

  Parent involvement is central to Aspire's approach, with extensive parent training embedded in every program. Families receive coaching sessions to learn proven techniques they can apply at home, multiplying the impact of therapy across different settings. Fortnightly team meetings bring together parents, clinicians, and program managers to collaboratively set and review goals, ensuring the plan stays responsive to your child's progress. The philosophy emphasises building a supportive community around each child, recognising that the best outcomes come through direct, ongoing interaction between parents, therapists, and program managers.

• Meet the team

  The team comprises over 25 experienced clinicians, including Behaviour Technicians and seasoned leadership overseeing all programs. Early Behaviour Intervention programs are specifically supervised by Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs) to ensure quality and tailored outcomes. Allied Health Services are being expanded to include Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists. All clinicians are highly experienced in working with children across a range of diagnoses and developmental needs, and the team is supported by a leadership group with extensive expertise in early intervention.

• Your first visit

  At a first appointment, clinicians conduct an individualised assessment of your child using the Early Start Denver Model framework. This initial interaction focuses on understanding your child's strengths, needs, and learning style to inform a tailored plan. For Early Behaviour Intervention, the process includes establishing baseline behaviours and developing goals through collaboration with parents. Following the assessment phase, you'll receive extensive parent coaching and training so you can actively support your child's progress both during sessions and at home. The team meets fortnightly with parents to review progress, set goals, and adjust the plan as needed.
