Our approach
ACT Psychology uses an evidence-based, client-centred approach tailored to each person's individual needs and circumstances. The team draws on a range of therapy methods including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, EMDR and Narrative Therapy, depending on what works best for each client. Psychologists adopt practical, solution-focused strategies and work with compassion to support people dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, relationship concerns and major life changes. Sessions are designed around the uniqueness of each person, their personal and social context, and their specific issues of concern.
