Our approach
The YK-Method follows a student-centred, teacher-guided approach where lessons are truly customised and individualised within a structured learning environment. Each student receives an assessment of their current ability, knowledge gaps and school's lesson sequence, which then guides the pace, strategy and focus of their program. Tutors use YK-teaching materials and work through what is expected in different topics and modules, helping students prepare for assessments early on. The teaching style emphasises being understanding and patient, with students encouraged to ask questions about homework and receive help preparing for school assessment tasks. Lessons combine the benefits of both private and group tuition, providing personalised attention alongside the social aspects of working alongside peers.
