- Telehealth Psychology
- Secure video and phone sessions available Australia-wide, bulk billed for eligible clients with a GP Mental Health Care Plan.
- Clinical Hypnotherapy
- Available as a complement to psychological therapy or standalone service, effective for anxiety, phobias, sleep difficulties, and habit change.
- Home Visit Psychology
- For clients unable to attend a clinic due to mobility, health conditions, or complex needs in the Melbourne metropolitan area.

Our approach
The Talk Shop psychologists use evidence-based approaches tailored to your child's unique needs and goals. They are trained in multiple therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy. Sessions are 50 minutes long, and your psychologist will work with you to understand what's happening and develop practical strategies for change. The team brings diverse expertise across child development, neurodiversity, trauma and grief, and other specialisations, so you'll be matched with someone whose experience fits your child's specific needs.
Meet the team
The Talk Shop has a diverse team of Registered, Provisional and Clinical Psychologists, all registered with AHPRA. Registered Psychologists have completed minimum six years of training; Clinical Psychologists have completed additional specialist training (minimum eight years) and handle more complex presentations; Provisional Psychologists are completing their supervised internship year and provide evidence-based therapy at lower cost. The team speaks over 15 languages and comes from varied cultural backgrounds, with specialisations spanning trauma, grief, child development, neurodiversity, autism and ADHD assessment.
