Working with families
CareChoice's Client Engagement Managers are happy to meet with families and carers to discuss supports at no cost and with no obligations. The organisation has a Customer Reference Group that gives clients and their support networks an opportunity to share feedback and ideas that help shape services, with members connecting directly with the Board and Executive Team to ensure client voices remain central to planning and delivery. The website emphasises working with you and your care team to understand goals and aspirations, creating person-centred plans that reflect your wishes and needs.
Meet the team
CareChoice's leadership team includes Amanda Bond (CEO) with a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology and more than 20 years of experience in health, aged care and disability services; Marnie Tewksbury (Co-Founder and Director) with 20 years in human services and qualifications in Psychology, Sociology and Social Work; and Brigitte Rahhali (Co-founder and Director) with over 20 years in disability services across direct support, education and management. The broader team comprises highly qualified and experienced support workers, Team Leaders, Nurses, Disability Managers, Behaviour Support Practitioners, a Learning Development Officer and an Authorised Program Officer. Each home has a dedicated Team Leader focused on service excellence, and clients can access support 24/7 with four lines of escalation available for their needs.
