Our approach
The Reading Village uses a structured literacy program backed by evidence-based research to teach reading, writing and spelling. Sessions are designed to be creative and engaging, with lessons customised to each child's individual learning needs and pace. Tutors use explicit, evidence-based methods to help students develop confidence and the skills needed to become resilient readers. Children are gently encouraged to progress at their own pace and give their personal best, with activities tailored to match their personalities and interests. The calm, purposeful learning environment supports each student's unique journey toward becoming a confident reader and lover of learning.
