Our approach
The clinic provides a reassuring environment with guidance and support throughout your child's health journey. Sessions include comprehensive consultations covering medical and developmental concerns from newborns through to adolescents, addressing issues such as feeding, settling, growth monitoring, developmental milestones, and behavioural management. The team works collaboratively, with a paediatric nurse available five days a week to discuss GP referrals and parental concerns. Consultations are conducted in welcoming, newly renovated rooms that are designed to make families feel at ease. The clinic's multidisciplinary approach brings together experienced paediatricians and subspecialists working together across the full working week.
Working with families
A paediatric nurse is available five days a week to discuss GP referrals and parental concerns, ensuring your input is valued at each step. The clinic sends SMS appointment reminders to help families stay organised. The team encourages parents to contact reception with any questions about fees and out-of-pocket costs before booking. After your appointment, if your child is known to the clinic and recently seen, repeat prescriptions can be provided. The clinic's philosophy emphasises providing "reassuring guidance and support every step of the way" in your child's health journey, with children and parents positioned as the primary focus.
Meet the team
The team comprises six paediatricians with established expertise: two general paediatricians (Dr Bronwyn Chan and Dr Samantha Lade) and four subspecialists including a Paediatric Allergy Specialist, Paediatric Respiratory Physician with training from Sydney Children's Hospital Network, a Developmental and General Paediatrician, and a Neonatologist. The clinic also has a friendly and experienced paediatric nurse (Alice) who is available five days a week, along with experienced reception and administrative support staff. All clinicians are described as highly skilled, well-respected specialists in their individual areas.
Your first visit
Initial consultations last up to one hour and cover your child's medical and developmental history, concerns, and any issues you'd like to discuss with the clinician. A referral letter from your GP is recommended and will remain valid for 12 months from your first appointment, though consultations without a referral are also available. The paediatric nurse may discuss your referral or concerns before or alongside your consultation with the doctor. Payment is required on the day of your visit, and if you have a valid Medicare referral, a rebate claim will be lodged on your behalf. The clinic team can be reached by phone or email to book your appointment and discuss any questions about what to expect.
