Our approach
At The OT Place, occupational therapy is grounded in evidence and shaped by lived experience, centred on understanding your child's nervous system and supporting it rather than working against it. Sessions are play-based, child-led and relationship-focused, taking time to build trust and safety while supporting skills like emotional regulation, sensory processing, fine motor development and confidence. The approach brings together mind, body and spirit perspectives of healing, creating a safe space where children can reset, release and revitalise. Sessions are designed to feel natural and meaningful, tailored to each child's developmental stage, strengths and everyday environment, with practical support that makes sense in real life.
