Our approach
The Best Team uses a play-based approach to therapy, focusing on making sessions engaging and enjoyable for children. Services include applied behaviour analysis (ABA), early start denver model (ESDM), sensory and occupational therapy, speech therapy, and child psychology. The provider emphasizes client-centred, occupation-focused practice aimed at promoting health and wellbeing. Sessions are tailored to individual needs, with particular expertise in working with children with global developmental delay, neurological disorders, learning difficulties, coordination disorders, and autistic spectrum disorders. The team combines fun and learning to create a positive therapeutic experience while addressing each child's specific challenges.
Meet the team
The team is led by Angela, the founder, director, and principal paediatric occupational therapist, who has professional paediatric OT experience in both Australia and Europe, with expertise in assessing and treating children with global developmental delay, neurological disorders, learning difficulties, coordination disorders, and autistic spectrum disorders. The multi-disciplinary team includes therapists in behavioural therapy, speech therapy, and child psychology. All staff members are of the highest professional standard with combined working experience of over 20 years in healthcare, and undergo appropriate Working with Children and Police checks. Staff are registered with AHPRA and their specific disciplinary associations, ensuring they meet professional standards in their respective fields.
