Our approach
The approach centres on understanding how each child communicates and learns, then building therapy around their individual needs, strengths and everyday environments. Sessions are play-based and goal-focused, designed to make learning fun while supporting movement, communication, independence and participation in daily life. The team uses evidence-informed methods across physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and other specialties, working closely with families and support teams to ensure therapy is consistent and practical. The philosophy is neuro-affirming and tailored to each person's unique abilities and objectives.
Working with families
The practice works closely with families and carers to ensure therapy is consistent, practical and aligned with each child's goals. Regular communication helps parents and carers understand their child's progress and the tools needed to support learning at home and in the community. A Key Worker model is available to provide dedicated, consistent support and to coordinate services, simplifying communication between family and therapists. The approach emphasises partnership with families to overcome obstacles and achieve shared objectives.
Meet the team
The multidisciplinary team includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Exercise Physiologists and Music Therapists, all described as experts at delivering exceptional therapy. The team is led by Debbie (Executive Director), with support from a Practice Manager and office staff across multiple locations. Allied Health Assistants provide additional support. The large, experienced team is qualified to work with children from birth to 18 years old across a wide range of developmental, neurological, communication and physical needs.
