  • Our approach

Sydney Psych Hub uses evidence-based psychological approaches to help young people understand and work through their challenges. Our psychologists take time to understand each young person's unique circumstances and work collaboratively to develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to their needs. Sessions provide a safe, confidential space where young people can share freely in a non-judgmental environment. We focus on teaching practical coping skills to handle life's difficulties while fostering personal growth and emotional wellbeing. Our therapists specialise in working with anxiety, depression, school refusal, social difficulties, bullying, anger management, behavioural concerns and learning problems.

  • Your first visit

The first session involves a comprehensive assessment where the psychologist aims to understand your child's personal circumstances, current concerns and difficulties. Through this thorough initial consultation, the psychologist gains insight into what your child is experiencing. Based on this understanding, the psychologist will develop a personalised treatment plan that's tailored to your child's specific needs. Our psychologists use evidence-based approaches throughout treatment to ensure your child receives the right support. If you have a GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician referral, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates to help with costs.
