Sessions are tailored to each child's needs, working in a kind, fun, connected and supportive environment. For all ages, therapy is neuro-affirming and designed to help children develop confidence and independence in their everyday lives, whether at home, school or in the community.

Working with families

The provider works collaboratively with families, recognising their important role in supporting their child's development and ensuring therapy fits into your family's busy life. Therapists consult with parents and carers to develop personalised plans aligned with your goals, and collaborate with your broader therapy team including teachers and other healthcare providers to maximise progress. Therapy can be delivered in the environments where your family feels most comfortable—your home, school, community spaces or the clinic—making it practical and integrated into everyday life. Communication with families is central to the approach, with therapists working closely with parents and carers as partners in supporting each child's growth and potential.

Meet the team

The team comprises five experienced Senior Speech Pathologists and two Senior Occupational Therapists, all highly qualified and committed to ongoing professional development. Each therapist holds relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Science, Masters degrees) and professional accreditation through Speech Pathology Australia. Team members have extensive experience ranging from 13 to 20 years working across disability, health and private practice sectors, with specialist training in approaches such as PROMPT therapy, Hanen programs, and feeding therapy. The Clinical Practice Manager and owner is Amanda Kennedy, a Senior Speech Pathologist with experience since 2004 who leads the team's person and family-centred philosophy.
