• Our approach

  Greenhouse Paediatrics delivers neuro-affirming, family-centered support focused on each child and family's personal goals, providing evidence-based care in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. The clinic brings medical and allied health specialists—including developmental paediatricians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists—under one roof to work together on comprehensive care plans. Sessions are tailored to individual needs and may include play-based exploration, practical skill-building, parent coaching, and home programs that families can use in everyday routines. Facilities are designed to be welcoming and calming, with sensory-friendly rooms and child-centered spaces to help children feel comfortable. The approach emphasizes understanding the unique factors affecting each child—whether sensory, emotional, behavioral, or developmental—and building on their strengths to achieve goals at their own pace.

• Working with families

  Family involvement is central to the approach at Greenhouse Paediatrics. The clinic uses collaborative, family-centered models where parents and carers are active partners in therapy and planning. Sessions include direct parent coaching and practical guidance so families can use strategies during everyday routines at home. For the feeding program, families receive a comprehensive home program with individualised mealtime strategies and visual supports. The Kaleidoscope Program supports families to navigate developmental concerns, link into services, and build community support. Communication emphasizes shared goal-setting, understanding family priorities, and working together to create supportive environments where children can thrive both in clinic and at home.

• Meet the team

  The multidisciplinary team includes specialist paediatricians with extensive experience in developmental, sleep, respiratory, and general paediatrics; occupational therapists with expertise in neurodevelopmental differences, regulation, feeding, and early childhood; speech pathologists; psychologists; and a clinic lead. Paediatricians include Dr Paul Wallman (nearly 20 years pediatric experience, fellowship in neurorehabilitation), Dr Annie O'Donnell (sleep and respiratory specialist with PhD in Asthma Genetics, consultant at Perth Children's Hospital), Dr Susan Fairbrother (over a decade in emergency and child development services), Dr Veena Judge (25+ years in sleep and respiratory paediatrics), Dr Janki Deshmukh (specialist in developmental and behavioural paediatrics, trained in autism assessment), Dr Katy Burley (developmental paediatrician with Master of Public Health), and Dr Dami Denbali (FRACP in general and emergency medicine). Allied health leaders include Tasha Alach, occupational therapist and clinic lead with 25+ years in disability sector leadership, and therapists including Angela Dudley (20+ years, early childhood and regulation specialist), Josie Page (early development and motor skills), Hayley Heaney (feeding and sensory processing specialist), Natalie Leishman (neurodivergent youth and executive functioning), and Megan Lindus.
