Our approach
StudyCave believes students learn best when they feel supported, encouraged and confident in their abilities. Sessions are one-on-one or small group tutoring delivered either in-person at the Marsden Park location or online. The tutors take a personalised approach, taking time to understand each student's weaknesses and strengths before helping them overcome challenges. Lessons are well-structured and tailored to suit individual needs and goals, with clear explanations that break down difficult concepts into easy-to-understand steps. The teaching style is engaging and supportive, with tutors who are patient and always willing to help.
Working with families
StudyCave maintains strong communication with parents throughout the tutoring journey. Tutors keep parents regularly updated on what is being done in sessions and provide consistent feedback about their child's progress, confidence and understanding. Parents appreciate being kept "in the loop" and note that tutors take constant feedback from them. The provider is accommodating with scheduling, always trying to find times that suit families' needs, and tutors are described as easy to talk to and professional in their approach.
