  • Our approach

The therapy at Stability Children's Therapy is evidence-based and focused on your family's goals, without unnecessary devices or unusual setups. Sessions involve quality practice that works, delivered by experienced clinicians who understand your child's individual needs and medical history. The service emphasizes a family-centred and strength-based approach, recognizing that every child is different and needs hands-on practice tailored to their specific objectives. Whether your child's goals are at home, in the classroom or with friends, the team works collaboratively across disciplines to support them. Teaching happens in your child's normal environments, like home and pre-school, because that's where they'll use and practice their new skills.

  • Meet the team

The team consists of experienced paediatric physiotherapists and speech pathologists, including directors Troy Southwell and Kate Hughes who are both paediatric physiotherapists. Physiotherapists on the team are Eleni Monger, Olivia Cattarin, Priya Lakkaraj, Tasmiea Basher, Kiara Lucas and Zané Erasmus. Speech pathologists are Ashwini Devarkonda and Sarah Cathro. All clinicians are described as devoted professionals with many years of training, and the team is experienced in early intervention and understanding the complexities of children's medical histories. The service coordinates with other therapists and medical professionals to ensure all practitioners work toward the same goals.
