Our approach
Sessions focus on developing mental skills and psychological resilience through evidence-based psychological skills training. Dr Nick Medic tailors each program to the athlete's unique needs, using techniques such as goal setting, visualisation, self-talk, breath control, and stress management. Most sessions are conducted one-on-one and in person, often in real-world settings like the sporting field or court where skills can be practiced in the environment where they'll be performed. The approach emphasises personal growth and holistic well-being alongside performance optimisation, helping athletes learn to manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours both during competition and in daily life.

Your first visit
The first appointment begins with a complimentary 20-minute consultation at no cost, during which Dr Nick Medic assesses whether he can assist and determines if the athlete is comfortable working together and committed to the program. If both parties agree to proceed beyond this initial 20 minutes, a full first session follows lasting 50–60 minutes for a fee of $390. After the first session, clients receive a Service Agreement via email outlining the proposal for follow-up sessions. The practice recommends booking the first 3 to 5 sessions following the initial appointment to establish momentum and secure appointments at times that fit the athlete's schedule.
