Our approach
At Speech For Kids, therapy is about having fun and developing relationships with families to build children's confidence in communicating and interacting with others at home, school and in the community. The provider works with a broad range of approaches including individual therapy, group programs, workshops, and school-based services. Sessions are tailored to each child's needs, whether that's learning first words, making speech sounds, developing sentences, improving literacy or building social communication skills. The philosophy centres on talking and listening together to support children and young people across different ages and developmental stages. Family involvement is built into the therapy model, with an emphasis on supporting parents to help their children learn both in sessions and at home.
