Our approach
Sparkle Psychology combines assessment and counselling services with a warm, curious, and playful approach that celebrates diverse ways of thinking and learning. Sessions focus on helping clients discover their strengths while developing practical strategies to overcome challenges. The psychologist recognises neurodiversity and creates a safe, inclusive space where clients of all neurotypes feel supported. Whether through assessment to build clarity about how someone's brain works, or counselling to explore difficulties and build new strategies, the goal is to help individuals reach their potential and uncover their unique sparkle.
Meet the team
Sparkle Psychology is led by Bec (Rebecca Reeves), a generally registered psychologist who works with clients of all ages. She is currently undertaking supervised practice to become an Educational and Developmental Psychologist, combining expertise in cognitive assessment, autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties with counselling and intervention skills. Bec's approach is described as warm, curious, and playful, with a strong commitment to helping individuals understand their strengths and reach their potential.
Your first visit
The first appointment is an initial intake session lasting 1 to 1.5 hours, conducted via secure video call. During this time, the psychologist gathers information about your child to understand their needs and determine what assessments or interventions may be helpful. You'll discuss concerns, strengths, and relevant background, and costs for any full assessment will be provided based on your child's specific needs. The initial appointment fee is $300, payable after the session, with half of the total assessment fee required before testing begins if you proceed.
