  • Our approach

Solasta offers strength-focused, individualised support using evidence-based therapy approaches. The team draws on a range of therapeutic methods including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and other evidence-based practices tailored to each person's needs. Sessions are designed to recognise and build on individual strengths while respecting personal choice. Therapists work collaboratively with families and schools to support children's social, emotional and academic wellbeing. The service is committed to providing a warm, engaging and personalised experience that helps children improve their wellbeing and reach their goals.

  • Working with families

Solasta works collaboratively with families as partners in support. Therapists work closely with parents and carers to foster children's social and emotional wellbeing, and consult with families to develop effective strategies. The team also works with schools and other allied health professionals to ensure consistent support across home and school settings. Psychologists frequently provide training and support to families, teachers and support staff to help them understand and support the child's needs. This collaborative approach ensures that parents are engaged throughout the child's therapy journey.
