Our approach
Sleep Matters uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy-Insomnia (CBT-I), the recommended first-line treatment for sleep difficulties. The team of clinical psychologists work with children and teens to address the underlying causes of poor sleep—whether that's mind-related (worry, racing thoughts), body-clock issues (timing and circadian rhythms), or habits that disrupt sleep (screens, caffeine, irregular routines). Sessions focus on breaking unhelpful sleep patterns and building better sleep habits. The clinic offers both individual consultations and group programs, with flexibility through in-clinic or telehealth options across Australia.
