Our approach
Therapy is founded on evidence-based approaches delivered within a relational framework, emphasizing that meaningful understanding and change emerge through the therapeutic relationship. Sessions create a safe, collaborative space built on trust where your patterns can be explored and new perspectives can develop. The practice is trauma-informed and offers neuroaffirming care that respects diverse ways of experiencing the world. Each person's uniqueness and life context are honored, with treatment tailored to feel meaningful and sustainable for you.
Working with families
For families supporting a loved one experiencing an eating disorder, dedicated support sessions are available that provide guidance, education, and a space to explore the challenges that arise in supporting recovery. These sessions help parents and caregivers feel more informed, supported, and confident in their role.
Meet the team
The practice is led by Sarah Moloney, a Clinical Psychologist Registrar with AHPRA and Registered Psychologist with AHPRA. She holds a Master's degree in Professional Psychology from Macquarie University Sydney and a Master's in Clinical Psychology from the University of New England, with over 13 years' experience across mental health settings in Australia and Ireland. She holds specialized training in Enhanced CBT for eating disorders, EMDR Level 1, and is an ANZAED-accredited eating disorder clinician.
Your first visit
The initial assessment, which runs for 75 to 90 minutes, provides an opportunity to discuss your concerns, background, and goals in a confidential setting. This session allows both you and the therapist to consider whether working together feels right for your needs. The assessment forms the foundation for ongoing therapy, which is then tailored to your specific situation using evidence-based approaches. Initial assessment sessions are $300.
