Our approach
ReImagine Psychology uses a client-centred, reassuring approach to assessment and counselling that values each young person individually. The team applies the latest cognitive and psycho-educational assessments to identify children's strengths and find the best methods to address areas of difficulty. They recognise that the assessment process can feel confronting and confusing for families, so they work to explain things clearly and make the experience supportive. Their comprehensive assessments examine cognitive, attention and behavioural considerations, and they produce school-friendly reports with practical strategies that educators can easily implement. Sessions are designed around understanding that every child learns and develops in their own unique way.
Working with families
The team is committed to supporting clients and their families throughout the assessment and counselling journey. They provide clear explanations of the assessment process, recognising that it can feel confusing, and aim to make the experience reassuring and easy to understand. Reports and recommendations are written in school-friendly language so parents can share findings with educators and work together to support their child. Communication and collaboration with families is central to their client-centred, family-run approach.
