  • Our approach

Axis Clinical Psychology draws on a broad range of evidence-based psychological approaches, including cognitive behaviour therapy, eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing, schema therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. The service holds a humanistic approach, placing the individual at the centre of therapy with empathy and unconditional positive regard. Rather than offering off-the-shelf therapy, the practice works with each person to support their well-being and personal growth in a bespoke, specialised way. Sessions are 50 minutes long and can be attended either face-to-face at the Perth office or via telehealth.

Brent is a full Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) member and a committee member of the Institute of Clinical Psychologists (ICP). As the sole service provider, he draws on years of experience to deliver personalised service that focuses on creating a safe space for vulnerable populations to have their needs met.
